About Us

We are 10 teachers of English from Vilcun, Chile.

We teach in 7 different schools (Escuela Niños Felices, Escuela San Francisco de Asis, Colegio Arrayan, Colegio America, Colegio Arturo Prat, Liceo Padre Nicolás and CEIA Eduocares XXI).

Our network intends to link English with our own Mapuche culture, since the majority of our students belong to this originary people. That is why we named the network English Ñi Kimün (Knowledge of English).

We, as teachers of English, want our students to improve their knowledge of the foreign language but also we want them to value their our language and link it to the new one, in order to rescue and enrich their culture.
